There are a few things going on at ECC that spell out the fact that we are growing an expanding.

SUMMER 2008

The Oakland Private Industry Council will be presenting workforce programs at ECC through to the fall. This change will find Senior Classes relocated to our new facility just across the street from Eastmont at 6948 Foothill (Helping Hands Community Center. This larger facility will accomodate more labs, offices and parking. From here we will offer an exiciting new A+ class along with our partner the Stride Center (formerly Street Tech).

These are elements of our new (EBCTC) East Bay Clommunity Technlogy Catalyst model that we hope will be adopted by communities around the nation. EBCTC

pulls together in partnership and collaboration some of the  best efforts of community services, eLearning, skills-related workshops into a model program, This new approach is exactly what we feel is needed for us to serve as a catalyst for community learning and instruction.
